Diabetes Mellitus is a condition in which the Blood Glucose content is very high and in which human body is unable to use this Glucose efficiently. Insulin is required to make the body utilise this abundant Glucose which is used as a fuel by cells in human body.Diabetes mainly classified into 2 types
Type 1 Diabetes: develops when there is severe lack of Insulin and compensated by Insulin Injection.
Type 2 Diabetes: develops when Insulin produced in human body is not properly utilised and treated by diet, exercises, and tablets.

Diabetes if left untreated results in complications like damage to small & large blood vessels, damage to nerve endings, eyes, kidneys, and feet.
Diabetes Assessment includes Annual health screening which includes care planning, Diet, Monitoring results, Medication, General condition. Diabetes review must be maintained including general assessment of well being both mentally and Physically, avoiding lifestyle issues like excessive smoking & alcohol consumption, assessment of kidney function, assessment of blood glucose levels, assessment of Blood pressure, Cholesterol or lipids.
Diabetes include symptoms like Hypoglycaemia(low level of blood glucose) which occurs mainly due to Insufficient food, excess of Insulin or incorrect administration of Insulin doses, more exercise than usual.

Coronary Heart disease in near to vanish in western world but due to this Diabetes the mortality rate has been increased and resulting in the risk of coronary heart disease. Depression is also a most common risk factor in Diabetes patients out every 4 diabetes patients 1 will experience Depression in his/her lifetime.  Program ACTIVE (Appalachians Coming Together to Increase Vital Exercise) was designed to recover patients from depression by pairing Aerobic activity with Cognitive Behavioural therapy. Cerebrovascular disease is most common risk factor increasing Morbidity & Mortality in Diabetic patients. So recent researchers developed methods to manage the Stroke by checking the Glycaemic levels and Lifestyle modifications.
